Hourglass - (An imitation of “I remember you” from Adventure Time)
Grandma, are we facing this battle together?
You must be feeling so under the weather
You’re there for us, and we should be there for you too
But this is hard, and I’m scared I’m going to lose you
Meds and chemo keep you alive, repressing the thought that you’re going to die
You’re in so much pain, but for how much time?
Will I forgive this world, tragedy ensue
When I won’t ever see you
Grandma, time is starting to dissipate
I reminisce the better days,
I search in your eyes and try to find an answer
I’m looking for you, but I’m seeing the cancer
Meds and chemo keep you alive, repressing the thought that you’re going to die
You’re in so much pain, but for how much time?
Will I forgive this world, tragedy ensue
When I won’t ever see you
Will I forgive this world, tragedy ensue
Now that I never see you
