Father Of The Year..
My dear loving dad,
I hope what you did to me haunts you every night and makes you feel like crap
I hope you regret not being able to watch me grow up, your only daughter
I hope your wife was worth losing your blood
You’re the first person who broke my heart
For the rest of my life, you will always be the one who hurt me the most.
Don’t forget that.
I wish you could feel the pain I felt
I wish you could know what it's like growing up without a father
I wish you could know what it’s like to not feel good enough even for your own parent
You made my mom take on both the roles, mother, and father
What kinda person does that
She did it all by herself and she did a damn good job
You got it easy because all you have to do is pay child support
But in a few days that will be over too.
You see me at stores
At the gas station
In public and you act like a stranger
How can someone do that
How is it possible to even do that
How do you sleep at night
I hope your life has been sunshine and rainbows since you got rid of me
Because for me it has been walking through hell and back almost every day
But I realized that I have amazing people in my life now that won’t ever leave me
Like how you did
My one and only father
