To Dream or Not To Dream
Imagine This
Start with a blank canvas
.
Then picture a dark navy blue filling the canvas
Have your baby blue be filled with white clouds
Illustrate big, small, fluffy, soft, white clouds
Start walking. Walk to the nearest biggest cloud you see
.
As you’re walking you see that there is a city illuminating the bottom of the canvas.
.
Drowsy is a feeling that starts to consume you
Remember to keep walking
Evaporating is your conscience
Already you begin falling asleep
Muster up the very little energy your left and think, is this a dream
To Dream or Not To Dream is a choice we’re given only once.

Dreams inspired me to write this piece. Whenever I dream it’s like I’m painting on a canvas. Dreams are like stories we paint in our sleep and I wanted to express that in words. I hope people will look forward to painting their own canvases after they read this poem.
