White, empty, telling.
I show myself like an open book,
Wooden, engraved, abused.
I can tell a story and show a story.
I am for all ages.
A beautiful weaving of craftsmanship.
I can even fly if manipulated correctly.
I can express and evoke emotion in the strongest of people.
I have many forms, all of which help others do tasks.
I have many uses, many traits, many sides.
I am graded, I test knowledge, and with ink, I give knowledge.
Used by billions worldwide, I am the most useful tool in the galaxy.
I am paper.

My name is Liam, I am an 8th grader who is soon heading into highschool. I wrote this piece in one of my classes as I was instructed to write a “Riddle Poem”. While thinking of what to make a riddle about, I pulled out a piece of paper, just something to take notes on. When I found I couldn’t come up with an idea, I realized just how useful paper could be for my school work and how useful it has been. I have used paper since I was little and I thought how many people relied on paper to do work. This is how I was inspired to write my riddle poem on paper. I couldn’t come up with anything, my paper was blank, empty, telling, and so I wrote about paper.
