Chicago Weather
The Sun keeps running from Chicago
cunningly cowers above clouds
missing behind the view of the Skyline
running from one coast to the next
The sun doesn’t stay around the Midwest
The Sun keeps running from Chicago
snow floats over our heads
The Sun doesn’t share her whereabouts
she knows she can help but wont
The Sun won’t give us a rest
The Sun keeps running from Chicago
She must hate the rain
when it pours she closes her doors
where to found for the rest of the day
The Sun can’t bring herself to stay
The Sun keeps running from Chicago
beaming from window to window
everyone becomes her fan
my friends wait for her touch all day
The Sun helps pale people tan
The Sun keeps running from Chicago
she can’t make up her mind
people call her bipolar and lost
or say it’s just not her time
you would think with all this pollution and global warming
we cant be that’s hard to find
