Trees
There are so many
They tower above so high
So green and pretty
Touching the sky
The wind rocks them
And the leaves shake
Creaking and bending
And they don’t break
Animals live in the trees
Squirrels leap from limb to limb
They are home to these
To rest when the light grows dim
They see everything
Oh the secrets they must hold
We will know nothing
Of the stories they withhold
