A Walk Through The Forest
Walking through the forest,
A place I've known since my youth,
It was the only place I ever felt free,
There's nowhere else I'd rather be,
I go there when I can,
when life seems bland,
I look at the earth and smell the sweet air
That is swirling around me everywhere,
As I watch the plants dance with glee,
a sort of peace starts surrounding me,
Every in of this land brings memories to my head,
thought of happy, and sad times, and a few of dread,
I can't help but smile as a cool breeze touches my skin,
and warm rays of lihgt slowly creep in,
Lighting up all around me are all kinds of leaves,
they are sitting atop the tallest trees,
Bright orange leaves with dark red veins,
millions of leaves burning bright like flames,
Everthing feels right in a moment like this,
for all around me is complet bliss,
As I walk I can hear the bird sing their sweet song,
and I see a mother doe and her fawn,
I finally reach my destination, it's as beautiful as I remember,
I will treasure right now for next comes December,
I lay down in the grass as the sun holds me tight,
everything in this moment feels exactly right,
In it's loving grasp,
I breathe my last,
As in this masterpiece
I am finally deceased.
