You know common sense really isn’t that common
I think that especially applies to my generation

Generation Z are some of the dumbest people I have ever met
We are addicted to our phones and obsessed with the internet

We use social media to stalk people like creeps
And we are crazy about our snapchat streaks

We thought it was a good idea to eat tide pods
Then we turned around and decided to snort condoms

We are uninformed but love to talk politics
And the mainstream media seems to love it

In almost every conversation when we bring up a topic
We go “wait! Hold on, I’ve got a meme for this”

We freak out and say “Oh no! Global Warming!”
Even though in the middle of April it is still snow storming

We want to ban guns because they only lead to violence
But when they are used to stop the bad guys there is only silence

We want to make guns illegal because we think they lead to gun fights
But me owning a gun is protected in my Bill of Rights

We make people feel degraded if they aren’t wearing the latest trends
But we turn around and say “have your own fashion sense”

In our generation we tease people by telling them to kill themselves
But then we get sad when they did, and didn’t reach out for help

These are just a few of my grievances with this generation
It proves my point that common sense really isn’t that common
