Spring Day
The clouds are moving across the bright blue sky,
As we lay down on the grass in the meadow watching the birds fly.
Passing over our heads blocking the shining sun’s glare,
Us sitting in the meadow, enjoying the fresh air.
The meadow filled with flowers, whose colors are bright and loud..
Wasting our time laying in the meadow with our minds in the clouds.
Our ears perked up by the sound of bees buzzing.
Near the flowers, we can hear the hummingbirds humming.
Above us, the trees are casting a large shadow,
The butterflies flying towards us as if they are trying to say hello.
As the sun starts to set coloring the once was a blue sky blushing red,
We are forced to go home because it was time for bed.
The crickets start chirping their nightly songs,
Slowly, we started going back home where we belong
We will always remember our days in the meadow lifelong.
