“ It’s Funny to Me”
If everything you say you said is true
 Then honesty has been misconstrued

For lies are all I ever hear
No matter if you are here or no where near

You tell me things to keep me close
But the more I hear, the less I want to know

And the less I know about they way you feel
Makes each and every day even harder to deal

‘Cause if you say you care and then turn your back
I begin to wonder if integrity is a quality that you lack

And it’s hard for me because I’ve lost my fix
And to tell you the truth just looking at you makes me sick

But isn’t it funny how you are the one driving me to
When the promise I made was a promise to you

A promise to never go back to my ways
For it was such a horrible time and place

But the longer I sit here looking at you
The more I wish that habit were here too…
