Stay – I love you –
Don’t leave me alone.
Let’s just lie here
In sweet silence,
Sleeping on the phone.
Every call I get from you
My heart skips a beat or two;
Together in our solitude,
Sleeping on the phone.
Your sweet embrace from far away –
I dream about it every day
Silent tears now where I lay,
Sleeping on the phone.
We talk of questions with no answers,
The distance of this silent cancer;
You are my world’s enhancer
Sleeping on the phone.
