Heaven
The whole thing was brushed quickly away
I felt lonely like a fallen angel
Not wanting the cold grieving sky
To come yet
Restlessly I tried to reason with Him
The sharp pain of his answer
Was the work of an evil child.
I felt lonely like a fallen angel
I was frightened for the dark morning
To come
I paced restlessly
The fear of mysterious
Outrage
I hadn't paid attention
The dry and sharp pain
Tore viciously
I paced restlessly
Lips scaly as snakeskins
The night was loaded with omens
The morning swept clean
I came on it in amazement
My dreadful look burned
And I glowed with amazement
Like angels from heaven
It was her
I could smell her perfume
I came on it in amazement
The strong impulse of comfort
Was the work of an angel
From heaven
