Beneath
The ocean has about 229,000 known species
Though only a small portion of the 2 million undiscovered species that lie beneath the abyss
Just place yourself on the beach
your toes are buried deep in the sand and you can smell the aroma of crisp air filling your head
The grace of the waves silently crashing
along the reefs
What’s actually hidden beneath the surface?
Soaking in the sun’s vitamin D you close your eyes
Putting yourself deep
into the water
You see many schools of fish swimming within the stream they’ve created
A beast is lurking far into the
distance
a great white is waiting to allure it’s meal
A feast will soon take place
You notice how all the creatures are just
one
giant
web
of life all working together simultaneously
You can feel the light from the sky
b r e a k i n g through the surface of the water
But it’s just the sun still radiating off the hot sand and you wake up
Staring at the sea you are in
awe
