I'm done
Although my life was fun
My days were few.
Not trying to jump the gun
But i've had it, i’m through.
Nothing was won,
Throughout all my attempts.
All I did was run
From all that I've dreamt
And now I'm done.
My place in this world, life did not care
My puny soul, it did not spare
It simply did not give a s*it,
Oh how hard that truth hit.
With the force of a train,
I felt the pain,
Of reality, striking its note
Like the ring of a bell
Death grasping at my throat,
Until the day i fell.
The deed is over and so am I
Now it's time to say goodbye.
Like all others I must die,
Yet there's no one left to cry,
No one left to hear the lie,
“He's in a better place.”
