Winter Haiku
A cold breeze
The heat of the kitchen
Grandmothers

Spring Blank Verse
The sun over the sky
The last breath of winter in the wind
Buds of flower emerge
A lawn chair with a drink
Birds chirp to the new day

Summer Narrative
Awaken to a warm morning
Indulge in television with breakfast
Enjoy the hot afternoons with a pool
Celebrate with s’mores by a campfire
Listen to the cricket’s chirp as you fall asleep
Summer

Fall Haiku
A rake ready
Brown leafs fall down
Chores for me
