I wake with the warmth with the sun on

my face

and know it's a start of another new day

The windows open and the air fills my lungs

I can breath again, it's another new day

I get dressed quick and I run outside forgetting

shoes, so I can feel the new day under my feet

the grass is soft, it feels devine

I have a new day on my side

The wind at my back, the sun on my face

It's the new day I seek, It's the new day I chase

I can feel the air turn from warm to cold, the

new day is almost over

I'm getting old

the new day has come and now it has passed

The moon is my friend and it's the new day
