So many lessons I have learned
From these memorable role models
Watching the teeny round dwarfs
Happily singing and waddle

Mulan taught me pride
And also to be humble
Taught me not give up
Even when I stumble

Elsa taught me to be myself
No matter what people think
While Tiana taught me to work hard for dreams
And they’ll come in just a blink!

Carl taught me that there’ll be times
Where I’ll lose it all
And feel alone
On this fearsome, round ball

Belle taught me to never judge a book by its cover
It’s beauty that comes from inside
The long-nosed wooden rascal showed me
To always let my conscience be my guide

But life is an adventure
You never know what you're gonna get
Victories and obstacles will come my way
Lessons I’ll never forget

This was originally for my 8th grade english class, as a poetry assignment. For the assingment, I decided to write something that would pay homage to the beloved characters we all grew up with, and will cherish forever.
