The Men of Oregon are tough
They get done feeling as if they are dead
You better be ready to play the Ducks because they play rough
There is a difficult journey ahead

Work so hard their breathing becomes a huff
Playing the Ducks is a day you dread
After one play you think it is enough
You are going to wish you never got out of bed

Some people might say the Ducks are a bluff
I promise you that blood will be shed
They never think you’ve had enough
You will think they were uniquely bred

They say the Ducks aren’t good to play so you shouldn’t play tough
Days in Autzen will be ones you dread
Autzen fans will make your day rough
When you play the Ducks you got a long road ahead

The Ducks play rough and tough
The last team they played pled
I’ll tell you right now that the Ducks aren’t no bluff
The Ducks are not dead

This poem is about the Oregon Ducks football program and all of the ups and downs the program has endured including the loss of their head coach in recent weeks.
