Sin
Fighting.
That’s all I hear anymore.
Mother and father,
Screaming.
That’s all I hear anymore.
Even when I escape to the outside,
I can still hear the roaring of my drunken father.
Slamming doors and
Breaking glass.
That’s all I hear anymore.
Then I hear the most describable noise.
One gunshot, and then another follows.
Silence.
That’s all I hear anymore.
