Little, old, and in the middle of nowhere
I am from bumblebee sunflowers
That only grow when it rains
I'm from Christmas to Thanksgiving
From Haley to Hannah
I’m from diabetes and happiness
from "You’re growing up too fast" and "Everything is going to be okay"
I'm from Genesis to Revelations
I’m from Glasgow, Kentucky
I’m from juicy hamburgers on Fridays and spicy tacos on Tuesdays
From the death of my happy grandpa to the death of my never-giving-up aunt
From the fall leaves turning crimson red and bumblebee yellow
And the importance of living life every day
