You trained me until I thought I was dead
In the gym that I soon began to dread
You ran me until me legs were numb
I was so tired my ears began to drum
When I succeed
You are overcome with glee
And if I fall
You also bawl
You cheer the loudest
And cry the hardest
So I guess what I am trying to say
Is that you made me into the athlete I am today
