Fog cascades like looming steps
A grayness in the paths it kept
Swirling mists condensing
Like ocean depths commencing
To drown out hearing and sight
With all their might
The fog drips, drips like icicles
As fast as pedaling bycicles
The fog swirls and thickens
Across roads slicken
With black pavement and yellow lines
As straight as vines
Even waiting for the school bus
I still can’t see due to the fog; yet I must
It’s taking up my view; blurring
Red flashing sirens and yellow school buses; hurrying
