The Light at the End of the Tunnel
I speak my mind to lend my soul to thee
Back at my face I see it spitef'ly thrown
I show my heart to let my motives be
But at this point I surely should have known
Although I try to shrug my worries off
I just keep seeing them come right on back
With mocking stares they look at me and scoff
Although its tough, I try to keep on track
Sometimes I feel like I just can't go on
I smile grimly and put up my guard
But now I see the glowing light of dawn
I have been dealt another hand of cards
I see the sun is out and here to stay
The stormy haze has finally gone away
