Love Was Out There
You lost something that could last forever
Hurt too many people in the process
 Just through hurting me
You’re so bi-polar you could be the weather
And it’s about time you learned to focus
On what love could truly be

I thought love was out there somewhere
And I thought I found it in you
You quickly became my special something
But I appear to have spoken to soon

I’m sorry that we didn’t work out
If I had my way we’d still be as one
And I wish that you were here right now
I’d cry in your arms, say what have we done

Couldn’t see what you had in front of you
A chance to settle down and never end
 But I guess that’s OK
Got no hate against you, what good would that do
And thank you for being my boyfriend
That’s all I’ve got to say

I thought love was out there somewhere
And I thought I found it in you
You quickly became my special something
But I appear to have spoken to soon

I’m sorry that we didn’t work out
If I had my way we’d still be as one
And I wish that you were here right now
I’d cry in your arms, say what have we done
