Me, Myself, and I
I feel that I am a simple soul
That wears a mask each day
I play the part of a stupid soul
So I can survive another day
I run a mile every night
It gets me closer to my departure
I run all this way to get away
From this world I cannot stand
 Can I stand?
 Can I decide?
I only know the speed of my stride
 I don’t know who I am
I dream of what I can be
Myself and I only know me
 The steps beside mine
They’ve disappeared after all this time
For now I only care about my speed
For myself and I only know me
