It started out as a normal day
But with one phone call
That all changed
We talked on the phone
And the bad news came
In the hospital and in pain
Now it's spreading
Weaker and weaker she grows
But she still isn't dreading
She is ready for the time coming
She knows where she will be
We pray and pray for the time upcoming
Her legs have grown weak
But she remains strong
