It's finally come
The prize we believed never would
A World Series victory
Our boys held it high
During a champagne rain
Tears flooded old eyes
After so many years of heartbreak
It's finally come
No more tossingand turning
Happy nights from here on
Instead of dieing dissapointed
Now I Can Die in Peace

Love the contrast in your line, "champagne rain/Tears flooded old eyes. One glorious life moment speeds by like the tick of the clock.
