Just because I’m quiet
Don’t ignore me when I speak
Don’t think I’m uninteresting
Don’t presume anything
Just because I’m quiet
It doesn’t mean I can’t be fun
It doesn’t mean I can’t be outgoing
It doesn’t mean I can’t be a leader
Just because I’m quiet
People who don’t know me think I’m shy
People who know me wish I were
But I’m a gem worth being discovered
Just because I’m quiet
I’m not different
I’m not alone
I’m not silent
Just because I’m quiet—get to know me.
