My Mother Is A Rose
My mother is a rose
Beautiful and vibrant
always smelling sweet.
She's soft as rose peddles
Her thorns have more than one purpose
Sharp and jagged they cut like razors
Protecting me from the dangers of the world
But also cutting me when I disappoint her.
She is hard working and always trying to give me all she has
She spoils me and tries her best to lead me in the right path
I love her with all my heart I will always be there for her until the day we grow apart
