Cold Heart
When my heart saw you, its colors changed.
It skipped a season, and went from fall to spring.
My eyes drooled when they listened to your lips sing.
We cherished our days; and couldn’t wait for what the future would bring.
Summer and autumn’s degrees came down so fast,
Bringing winter and our love to zero degrees Fahrenheit.
My heart hasn't loved anybody since that time,
That day when you came to me and said goodbye.
It's still winter, and you haven't come back;
My heart isn't waiting for you anymore... I'm enjoying life.
Actually, I'm cold because my heart is living in a shack;
As for you came to me like a storm, and destroyed my life.
My tears fall down like snowflakes now,
while I'm waiting for spring to come back.
But there's one thing I'm sure won't happen,
It's that the ice covering my heart will never melt down.
