I close my eyes to a world of dark
And see a world of light
Where brilliant dreams of love and hope
Illuminate the night
Where laughter rings like phantom bells
And all the world is warm
Where fires burn within us
In an entropy of swarms
Where shadows never dare to fall
And stars our souls beguile
I close my eyes to a world of dark—
And see a world of smiles
