Abracadabra
I went to see a magic show
I had to pay to see it though.
They sawed a woman in half, so neat
But I could see they were mannequin feet
“They picked my card,” I had exclaimed
But every card had been the same
None of the magic had really been there
Betrayed, robbed, everything felt unfair
Betrayed because the magic flame had been unlit
But robbed because a clown had stolen my wallet

My friend Logan had taken his own life, but while he was still here, he really enjoyed performing magic tricks. I wrote this poem because he loved to use magic trick to pull a prank or joke with me, so I wanted to make a funny poem about him and have it relate to magic shows since he loved them so much.
