The Air, the Sea, and the Green Land
The Hawk
Soaring over land
An untamed wild beauty
On golden feathers
Mermaid
There once was a girl in the sea
Who wanted to walk just like me
I threw out a net
She’s no longer wet
And here we sit sipping our tea
Irish and True
I’ll tell you an Irish blessing
One I know is true
I hope you see it loving
Since it’s my wish for you
May your cup never be empty
May your thoughts always be pure
May your life be full of laughs aplenty
And decisions always be sure
May you find the path you’re meant for
May the doors be open wide
May you never forget to soar
And find your place inside
I leave you with this blessing, to take as you will
And if you don’t like it, may you become very ill
?
Me Lass Amongst the Emerald Grass
O’re rolling hills of emerald grass
I left one morn’ to find me lass
She had kissed me cheek the night before
Then walked right out me wooden door
Know not her name
Nor where her door
From whence she came is something more
With flower in hand, I start to wonder
O’re the land, and o’re yonder
O’re the cobblestone wall
Amongst the sheep
I saw the lass I longed to keep
During me Irish weddin’
Just as she did before
She kissed me gently on me cheek
But ne’er again walked out me door
