A cold December day
Painted with snowflakes
A tall green tree stands in the living room
Decorated with lights
Ornaments
A shiny gold star on top
Christmas smells like a mix of cinnamon
and pine
Faintly
the smell of a home-cooked meal
fills the air
It tastes like peppermint candy canes
Warm hot cocoa
& gingerbread cookies fresh out of the oven
Christmas sounds like jingle bells ringing
Families laughing sharing stories
& Christmas songs like “Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer
Christmas is the feeling of love.
