Emotions
Fear
Fear is a sad little girl hiding in a corner.
The way you walk down the street hiding your face from strangers.
The darkness that grabs a hold of you causing you to be afraid.
Fear is what everyone tries to run from, but only cause more of it.
Poetry
Poetry is exhilarating.
Poetry is painting on paper.
Speaking and actually seeing the words.
Your thoughts and emotions describing a subject.
Poetry is the way you show a connection.
Giving your all without showing your all.
Heartache
She gave him everything she had,
Her body, soul and heart,
His old habits got the best of him,
He left; she fell apart.
She was telling herself it would be okay,
Yet she didn’t realize there was another in bed,
Yet no matter what she chose to stay,
He didn’t feel bad and let it all go to his head.
All the pain and heartache,
You watched the sparkle in her eyes slowly fade away,
Tears so sharp, fievce and gray,
Like that she gave up and had to break.
Work
It is exhausting.
I love work.
Very Productive.
