Baby Blue
My bedroom walls are baby blue
They're covered in posters and papers
The paint is slowly wearing away
Underneath, I can see brown
The summer sky is baby blue
I stare up at it when I am outside
It is sometimes darker blue, which is just as well
Within the baby blue sky, I see white
I have a pair of baby blue converse
They look like new
And are barely worn
Underneath them, I wear black socks
My sister has a baby blue jacket
Which I’d really like for my own
She wears it very little
And from my jealousy, I see green
In our house, we have a baby blue towel
It is my favorite towel
Due to color and softness
Underneath it, there are dark colors
I have a few baby blue shirts
Taking up a small portion of my closet
This color
For some reason
Consumes me
But I’m Okay with that.
