Mistakes that never fade
If we could push a button,
and Re-do everything,
We would worry about nothing.
We would never make mistakes,
and we would never fear.
Fear.
Funny how a Re-Do could get rid of fear
But I mean it makes sense
after all why do we feel fear?
Aren’t we afraid of mistakes
that will never fade?
And if a Re-Do
Gets rid of mistakes that will never fade
Then won't fear itself
Fade from the world's face.
I mean it's only logical,
Right?
Or maybe
Our grasp on fear is to tight?
Maybe no matter how many times
We can Re-Do and fix our mistakes
They will always be there,
In the back of our brains
Living as the mistakes
that will never fade.
So I guess they don’t fade.
At least not completely
For as I said
In the back of my brain
Live the mistakes I've made.
The ones that no matter
How many time I Re-Do
Will always come back into my brain
And remind me
Of the unforgivable
Mistakes that will never fade.
