What I Mean When I Tell You I Love You
Our two warm bodies lay amongst the leaves
Autumn crumbles sprinkle your scarf, which
Cascades itself over your heart,
A loving beat to heal any stitch
Our two healthy bodies picking sweet peaches
With interiors rosier than our puppy-love
Or the blush in our stinging cheeks,
In the crisp wind soaring way above
Our two cuddling bodies hold more passion
Than the most passionate passion fruit
The butterflies prove that I'm happy
The other boy left me the loot
Our two loving bodies share something special
These are feelings completely new
Because never have I ever, until now,
Wanted nothing more than to just be near you

The feelings I felt for my best friend (who is now my girlfriend) inspired me to write this piece. I hoped I could put words to a feeling that I previously found impossible to describe, and I feel like others can relate to this piece.
