On the Edge

I can't take it anymore,

The pain in my chest,

I can't take it anymore,

The numbness in my brain,

I can't take it anymore,

The pain of him leaving,

I can't take it anymore,

The violent jealousy consuming me,

I can't take it anymore,

The days wasted dreaming of him,

I can't take it anymore,

The monster I have become,

I can't take it anymore,

The days spent festering in my wedding dress,

I can't take it anymore,

The frail, bitter, spiteful old woman I have become,

I can't take it anymore,

Waking up to my lonely, bitter life everyday,

I can't take it anymore,

Myself,

I can't take it anymore,

The pain,

I can't take it anymore,

He will never feel the pain that I have felt these many years,

I can't do it anymore,

That boy wasn't hurt the way I was,

I don't take it anymore,

Burning ouside and in.
