Broken Race
But one race, where there are many –
Shattered, and broken.
A repression of man –
And a humanity likewise – one so alien now.
An act original in nature –
In all of them.
An act without reflection.
Its screams – how they echo.
Their cries in and of repression, and inhumanity –
An ending to it without foresight, or thought.
The continuum of enumerable injustices.
Now on the balance,
The horrors and renewal of humanity.
With one to tip the scale.
A harsh scale, of but one of two ways.
