Favorite Quote:
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Proverbs 31:30

Your words of wisdom
Come at times when I need it most.
Teacher you are knowledgeable beyond years.
Your eyes are kind
Your attitude uplifting.
Teacher you must be different
A mutation that gave you more.
You are full of worry
Your amount of care astounding.
Teacher I don't know how you do it.

Teacher you are incredible.
Long hours don't seem to twiddle you down.
You bear nights of no sleep.
I feel that God put you here.
I believe you were brought here
Teacher brought here to change lives.
I hope I changed yours a bit too.

I had a very influential English teacher. She was the woman who framed my writing and helped me release my creativity. She helped me overcome difficult moments in life. Going through the many types of poetry we came across the Poem of Address. I didn't know what to write on. A Poem of Address is a poem that you write that speaks to a person or object while teaching the reader about it. I thought about who or what I wanted to say something to and she came to mind. She is one of the most hardworking women that I know. I look up to her so much and I can never thank her enough in helping me shape my life. Thank you Mrs. Hoel for giving me advice when I'm stuck and being realistic with me when I'm irrational. Thank you for changing me for the better. This is for you. Thank you. ~ A Student Thankful for Her Teacher
