Winter
Brisk cold snow hits your cheeks
Hot chocolate and melted marshmallows
Christmas time, don’t peek
Santas joyful bellow
The world is silent
Childrens faces filled with gleam
The wind is violent
Lights and music stream
Hugs, kisses, and grace
As winter’s storm arrives
Snuggles and blankets, we brace
The storm consumes our lives
No all is calm in this little town
Not even the faces of children show a frown.

The brisk cold days of winter inspired me and how joyful the world is. I hope the audience can relate to it by the cozy winter days or christmas traditions.
