Where does the sun go?
It disappears into the universe.
That minute I look out my bedroom window.
It is night.
Only night, nothing more.
But, the night sky is awake.
I know it is twilight.
The minute the world stops between yesterday and tomorrow.
That break in time.
The energy I feel when it happens.
It brings me to a world.
A world where I am stuck.
The past, present.
I can see.
I can see the past of yesterday, but the future of tomorrow.
And just as I look out that window, the world is yellow.
It is a new day.
Farewell twilight.
I shall see you tonight….and tomorrow.
