Last year October

I visited The Haunt
Even though I am the baby of the family
My sister was acting more like a chicken

As we stood in line 
My sister started to get scared
We could hear high pitched screams
coming from the building

As we waited in line
we were scared by gruesome scarecrows
They jumped out at us
and looked like they were rotting

Inside The Haunt
there were dancers.
They were dressed like the Grim Reaper
and tried to touch us with their long fingers.

We headed to the 3-D clown area
Then we moved outside to the corn maze 
At the end of the maze,
Surprise! a guy with a chainsaw popped out at us

The whole way through the Haunt
My older sister was jamming her head down
Into her arms and screaming
I don’t think she saw anything

By the end of The Haunt
my sister started to get braver.
She said she wants to go again next year
We will see.
