A wave of acidic nausea floods the stomach.
The overpowering stench of rotted carcass
Bringing discomfort and fear.
A decomposed carcass makes way for beauty in the ground.

The overpowering stench of a rotted carcass
Soon covered with soil and Earth.
A decomposed carcass makes way for beauty in the ground.
Feeding the Earth with its dwindling soul.

Soon covered with soil and Earth
Like a chewed up dog bone.
Feeding the Earth with its dwindling soul.
Each bud in the ground latching on and feasting like a parasite.

Like a chewed up dog bone
The body is buried, soon forgotten.
Each bud in the ground latching on and feasting like a parasite
Hoping one day to blossom from Death.
