Half-forgotten Dream
Blessed are the blissfully forgetful,
Faded scars replace their forgotten pain.
Turning every thought vaguely sweetful,
So they can one day fall in love again.
Cursed are the ones with stubborn memory.
Listening to specters who caused their pain,
Utter whispers of hatred and misery,
Telling them they can never love again.
Never lose hope, scarred and lonely vessels,
A being no different shall have you redeemed.
They will expose your shut heart and nestle,
Making your pain a half-forgotten dream.
