Harsh words and sharp tongues
Hidden behind a mouthed misunderstanding
Of how the bullies were to blame and not themselves
How they were driven to anger so easily but then looked upon
As the transgressor

Those bullies hide under a veil of insecurities and lies,
delivering mean words that stung feel like overwhelming bee stings


If they were to open up if only a little bit
Then surely their view would change it would bloom into something better
Something healthier
Something nicer


The author's comments:

This piece inspired me to talk about bullying. How some teachers or adults are misunderstanding a situation when a child acts out according to how they are being treated from other students.
