The tree and the Knee
I wanted to climb a tree for no reason.
I could feel pollen swarming toward me, I sneezed, it was pollen season.
I went to the side of my house I knew there was a small tree.
I told my friend that it was a nice day to climb a tree, he said I agree.
I started to climb the tree.
As soon as I reached the top I felt free.
I felt like I was going to sneeze.
I sneezed and grabbed my knees.
I lost my balance then grabbed a stick.
The stick snapped I fell out of the tree onto a brick.
I landed on my knee when I fell.
The pain welled up inside me until I could hold it no longer is escaped in a explosive yell
My friend came running to help.
When he tried to pick me up he hit my bloody knee and I yelped.
Instead he grabbed my arms quickly dragged me across the yard.
I looked in horror as blood trickled down my leg, I thought it would be scarred.
After what felt like an agonizing year I reached my door.
My friend said that dragging me across my yard was a chore.
Once we got inside my friend got me an ice pack.
After a while my knee started to feel better, so I got a snack.
