Cogs in a line are all placed the same way.
I’m waking up just to go to this place.
Faces I pass nearly everyday.

Do these parts look different? Well yes they may,
yet all of these pieces take up the same space.
Cogs in a line are all placed the same way.

You take a glance, but they all look away.
Life moves too fast, like we’re all in a race.
Faces I pass nearly everyday.

The fire of corporate design sway,
to the broken beat of each man’s briefcase.
Cogs in a line are all placed the same way.

Everything breaks, we all start to decay.
Leaving the Earth without leaving a trace.
Faces I pass nearly everyday.

Going to sleep, almost begging to say,
How does one, be unique in this space.
Cog in a line are all placed the same way,
faces I pass nearly everyday.

I wrote this piece for a creative writing class. The pom is about the way I feel about going to school everyday
