I poured some Hawaiian Punch
to wash down my lunch
SPLISH!,SPLASH!
The juice spilled on the floor with a crash!
I had to get a towel and pick it up,Oh I wish I wouldn’t of knocked over that cup!
I felt really embarrassed because it was late at night,
but I decided I wouldn’t get too up tight.
So I ran through the juice to go get a towel,
but then I fell on my elbow and let out a howl!
I told myself to just keep calm,
but then I couldn’t take it anymore so I told my mom.

‘’MOM,I just slipped and fell!”
“Oh that’s what I was hearing,YOUR loud yell!
“Yes,Yes it’s the elbow pain I can’t take,Can we go to the emergency room?”
“Do you think you could wait?’’
NO,I really don’t think I can!’’
“Well alright,get in the van.”

So we drove to the emergency room, which seemed to take forever”
I don’t want to drink that juice again,NEVER,EVER,EVER!
We waited in the lounge that  was decorated way to bright and cheery,
for a room full of people whose faces looked impatient and dreary.
Babies cried and people groaned
Some whined “When will it be my turn” and “I want to go home!”
Then finally they called my name” Makhyli,your next”
I told her what happened,she didn’t look impressed.
“Let’s take an x ray”,she said kinda sly,she made me move my arm around,which made me want to cry’’

After the x-ray the doctor let out a laugh”I can’t tell what’s wrong with your elbow,but I’ll give you a cast!”
“What are you serious? this just can’t be!
You seem really dumb,to have a degree!
I thought that in my head but said politely:
You really don’t know what is wrong with me?”
“No the x rays just don’t show,
what terrible thing happened to your elbow.”
Then they started to put it in a mold it was a cradle for my elbow that it would hold.”
After that they gave me a sling,ugh how ugly was that thing!

Lastly I I got  a warm blanket to take home,and still no one knows what happened to my elbow bone!
Well, we will go home and wait for the doctor bill,from that terrible injury that happened from a little juice spill!
